Chapter 9
Zac slowly crept into the room, staring directly at the floor. Isaac just as slowly followed him, and for a moment no one said a word. Finally, Zac was able to look up for more then a few seconds, and was examining the surroundings from where he stood while Isaac moved by Taylor said,
"It's really not that bad. In fact, they should be letting me go home soon."
"What happened?" Isaac asked quietly.
"Well, the phone rang, and when I answered it, it was some guy. He started threatening Zac and Natalie and said something about... he said something about killing Samantha."
"Did you recognize the voice?" Zac asked.
"No, he must have been using some kind of voice changer." Taylor admitted.
"Well, what happened after?" Isaac asked. It was plain to see that he wanted to know more than Taylor could tell im.
"Well, then I heard Natalie, so I ran out to the living room, and no one was out there." He explained. He went on to tell them the rest, and the other two listened, horror expressing on their faces. Taylor tried to reassure them that he was ok and not to worry, but it was apparent they were going to go ahead anyway. They stayed a bit longer, and comforted each other with each other's company. When they left they felt reassured that we was safe, but we couldn't say so much for Taylor, though. He worried for their safety, because if he got attacked in his very own house, they could just as easily be, and that discomforted Taylor. He wanted to go home again, but he had to stay there for another day or two. He sighed, accepting the inevitable, and looked out the window, the sunshine smiling bitterly into his eyes.

All was silent the rest of the week. Taylor was welcomed back home, and he got treated as thought he had earned the Medal of Honor. He was visited frequently, mainly by close friends, and Sebastian and Damien showed up a lot with Natalie. It took him awhile of silence to convince Taylor it was going to stay that way and to get him to ease back into Normality.
Then it started again.
