Chapter 5
"Thanks for letting me stay here awhile," Natalie said.
"Sure, no problem," Zac said. His voice was muffled, and a lot of crashing and banging was coming from the kitchen where he was.
"I mean, it's alright to not want to be home alone at this time of night."
"I guess so..." The crashing and banging continued.
"What are you doing Zac?" Taylor asked.
"I'm trying to make something to eat," he said.
"Great," Taylor said sarcastically.
"Shut up!" Zac yelled. "It'll be good this time!"
"Right, I'll be sure to turn all the smoke alarms off."
Natalie sighed, but with a smile on her face. There's nothing like spending time with those two to get your mind off things, she thought. But her thoughts were interruped once again by the phone ringing.
"I'll get it!" Zac yelled, but this was followed by another loud crash.
"Don't worry, I'll get it, Zac," Taylor said, and picked up the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Taylor," the voice said.
"Who is this?"
"I think you know who I am."
"No... I'll ask again. Who are you?" Taylor moved out of the room to become less noticed.
"I don't think the question is who I am, but where I am." Taylor muffled a laugh at the use of this 'Stab' line.
"You don't scare me." he said.
"Why would I want to do that?"
"Because you're some idiot pranker. I see you're especially into 'Stab' too."
"Yeah... What's your favorite scary movie, Taylor?"
"The Little Mermaid. What, do you think I'm actually going to fall for this?"
"It's no joke, Taylor, it's a game, and you could win if you're willing to play." The voice said.
"Oooh. What do I get," Taylor asked.
"You get your life... and Zac's... and Natalie's. Too bad poor little Samantha didn't want to play." The almost 'pleasant' voice twisted into anger.
"Look, you little asshole, I don't know who you think you are, but-"
Taylor was interrupted by a loud shattering of glass, and a scream coming from the living room.
