Scream 4
The phone rang. A girl, who appeared to be about 16 answered.
"Hello?"
"Hello." a deep voice answered.
"Uhmmm... who is this?" she asked.
"Who do you think it is?" he came back with.
"I don't know, you called me."
"Did I?" he asked.
"Yes, who is this?" she demanded.
"Why don't you guess?"
"Are you someone I should know?" she asked, confused.
"Maybe."
"Who don't you just tell me?" she asked, starting to get annoyed.
"I'll give you a hint. The person standing by your window."
A feeling of dread swept over her as she looked towards her window. A white ghost faced figure stood there, watching.
"What kind of sick person are you?!" she screamed into the phone.
"Still don't know who this is?"
"I really don't care, get away from my house, and leave me alone!!!"
"Why? Don't you want to talk to me? I want to talk to you."
"Why? What do you want from me?"
"It's simple really, I want to see you dead."
The phone dropped out of her hand and with a clatter, hit the ground. She turned around and ran as fast as she could in the other direction. She heard a loud crash behind her. A shattering actually. Oh God, she thought as she realized the grim reality, this is not a good time to have a glass door.
Knowing it was a mistake, hoping she could get out, but knowing she had nowhere else to go, she raced up the stairs, into her room, and locked the door. She sighed, thinking she was safe for the time being. A pounding started on the door… No, it sounded more like a picking at the door. The point of a knife came right through the door, just missing her shoulder. She screamed, and ran to the phone. She picked it up. Damn, she thought, I left the stupid thing off the hook!! With no hope of calling the police, and the person outside, literally beating down her door, she saw no other choice.
She ran to the window and opened it up. She kneeled on the side, examining it for a way to climb down. Her door handle turned. She started out the window, hoping to make it to the ground safely. He ran in, knife in hand, and before she could let go of the window he grabbed her shirt and stabbed her in the shoulder. Then once again in the chest. He released, and she fell to the ground.
